Please be informed that this afternoon two members of the public came onsite and attempted to steal bikes from the school site. This followed a similar event on Friday afternoon where the same people were able to take one bike.
Our staff confronted the two people and ensured that the bikes were not taken. The Police have been notified and we are going to lock all bikes at the front of the school with a long chain from tomorrow. I also suggest that if your child has a bike chain they use this at school.
Today's event was concerning as it was brazen and occured in an area often used as a teaching space. We will work with the Police to ensure that we are doing everything possible to keep our students and their property safe.
