Glendowie Primary welcomes International Students to our school. We know you will have a wonderful experience with small class numbers, wonderful resources, and caring teachers and students. ERO confirms that the school’s internal evaluation process for international students is thorough. The school has highly effective systems and practices to ensure the quality of education and pastoral care of international students. Glendowie School is a quality and high performing Primary School in the Eastern Suburbs of Auckland. Catering for children aged 5 to 13 years of age.

Glendowie School is situated in the beautiful Eastern Suburbs about 15 minutes from the centre of Auckland.

Our school is surrounded by parks and overlooks the Tamaki Estuary and is in close proximity to the Eastern Bays beaches.

Glendowie School is a state authorised International Baccalaureate School (IB) offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). This allows the school to deliver an International and National curriculum. The PYP offers a comprehensive approach to teaching and learning including programmes for gifted and talented, ESOL and special needs. Our ESOL department gives specialist support and a specialist teaching programme in all aspects of literacy and a language programme needed to support the classroom learning programme in other curriculum areas.
