Glendowie Parents’ Association Quiz Night Tickets are now available on Kindo! Only 110 spots!

Tomorrow is the Run-A-Thon!!

This event is non-uniform, the theme is athletic / sporty.  Running shoes are compulsory for the event, particularly for years 3 – 8 in the park.

Years 0, 1 & 2 will be running laps around the school astroturf area.  

Years 3 to 8 will be running at Glendowie Park opposite the school (using the pathway near Colchester Ave).  We will be using the concrete path as a circuit. 

Reminders for Friday 21st August – Cultural Celebration Parade & Run-A-Thon sponsor sheets!

We appreciate that this is a very busy school term so please note reminders for tomorrow;

Cultural Celebration Parade

At approximately 9:00 am (weather permitting), we will have our Cultural Celebration Parade on the astroturf. We invite children to dress in cultural clothing, colours, or symbols that represent their own heritage or the country/culture their class has been exploring throughout the week. Simple and symbolic representations are perfect—the focus is on celebrating our school’s rich diversity.

Families are warmly welcome to stay and watch the parade. 

Children can remain in their cultural clothing for the remainder of Friday 21st August. The school uniform can also be worn if that is your preference.

Run-A-Thon sponsor sheets

If you are using a sponsor sheet, they are due back tomorrow. Please have students return sheets to their class teachers.

School Disco Release Forms

Hi there,

Please see the attached information regarding tonight’s school disco.

If your child will be collected by an adult other than their usual caregiver, please complete the relevant section at the bottom of the attached form. Alternatively, your child can bring a handwritten and signed note, with your contact number confirming the name of the person who will be collecting them.

The Scholastic Book Fair tomorrow during Parent Teacher Interviews is card payment only.

Parent Teacher Interview Bookings are now closed. Reminder school finishes 1.40pm Thursday 13th August.

Year 6 Exhibition 2026 – Glendowie Community Help

Important: Collection times (1:30 – 3:00pm) Today, 30th June

We have a special Assembly in the afternoon today. If you are needing to collect your child between 1.30 and 3:00pm, please could you let the office know before 12.30pm today so that we can arrange for them to wait in the office for you and minimise disruption to the assembly.  Thanks for your consideration.

Next Friday, 3rd July is Non-uniform Day.

LOST PROPERTY JUMPERS – we have a table set up outside the school office with unnamed school jumpers.

Jumpers left at the end of this week will be donated to the second hand uniform shop.

Named jumpers are returned to students.

Please note there will be NO Milo Friday tomorrow due to Movie Night preparations.

If your student is attending movie night please pack a water bottle. The tuck shop will have snacks available for cash purchase.

We encourage students to rug up as the hall will be cold! Feel free to bring bean bags, blankets & pillows. See you tomorrow night! 

Movie Night Ticket Sales have CLOSED.

Tickets will be handed out to students at school.

Release forms have been emailed to caregivers. Please complete if your student is being picked up picked up by someone who is not a family member.
